Image URL gets lost when I update post

First thank you for this theme... I like it very much.

I encounter the following problem:
I make a new post, write some text, paste the image URL in the custom field and publish the post. Everything works fine so far.

But when I make a change in the post, like changing some text or adding a tag and update the post, the image URL in the custom field gets lost. I have to paste it again in the Image URL field and update again. Then it works... until the next update!

Seems like quite a serious bug? Do you have any solution to this? I use WP 2.9.1

Thanks for purchasing Image River.
Do you use the "quick edit" or normal "edit" ?
for now please prefer the normal edit to update your post.

Also have you some plugins desactivated ? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I found a kind of workaround for this problem. When I update a post and then go back to the post-LIST the problem doesn't occur. Only if I STAY in the post after updating, the Image URL gets lost. Somehow a strange behaviour.

Here my settings, for further investigation... and tks for your help so far.

We just send a new version of Image River (v1.3), This should correct the bug for edit and quick edit.
